Pay Range: $26.68 - $32.43 (based on experience)

Basic Job Functions:

• Planning and monitoring inbound and outbound shipments
• Negotiating and securing transportation rates
• Coordinating with vendors, suppliers and transport companies
• Ensuring warehouses, transportation, and customer services work in unity and meet their commitments
• Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipment
• Serves customers by providing product and service information and resolving product and service problems.
• Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
• Plan and track shipment of final products according to customer requirements
• Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
• Contributes to team effort
• Uses telephones and/or email to respond to customers and/or verify account information
• Continually reviews freight costs, transportation rates
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, or combination of education and experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word, in particular)
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
• Understanding of supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions
• Previous customer service experience
• Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working for a manufacturing company
• Prior experience in logistics or transportation preferred
• 1-3 years’ experience in customer service preferred.
• Bilingual English/ Spanish, preferred
