Job summary

Mondelēz International in Portland, Oregon seeks a Warehouse Operations Specialist to drive service, cost, health and safety, quality and policy compliance across inbound and outbound flows.

You will partner with 3PLs, monitor stock accuracy, reconcile SAP with the warehouse system, support tenders and cost analyses, and help reduce write-offs while upholding HACCP standards.

Job Description

You will execute warehouse operations in terms of service, cost, health and safety, quality, food defense, sustainability, legal requirements and policy compliance. You will also work collaboratively with key internal and external (third‑party logistics vendors) business partners to ensure effective management, timely solutions and execution. Responsibilities include inventory management (iDoc management, stock reconciliation), interface monitoring, track and trace, claims management, invoice management, compliance execution (HSE, quality, risk management), tender support, third‑party performance management and pallet management.

How You Will Contribute

• Review and analyze stock inaccuracies and guarantee accurate stock alignment between SAP and the warehouse management system based on available information among stakeholders; analyze and verify capacity utilization, performance and KPI monitoring, and introduce corrective measures when KPIs are missing.
• Work with service providers to ensure delivery to trading partners in terms of punctuality and completeness, taking into account quality and HACCP guidelines.
• Monitor inbound, outbound, co‑packing, warehousing and distribution activities to ensure shelf‑life monitoring and management, support reduction of write‑offs and continuously seek opportunities to improve productivity.
• Conduct project‑related and ad‑hoc tasks, in particular in connection with continuous improvement projects, tenders and peak management.
• Build and provide full‑cost analysis (yearly budget), risks and opportunities.

What You Will Bring

• Experience with Microsoft applications, especially advanced Excel.

Salary and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $61,800 to $84,975; the exact salary depends on experience, skills, education and location. The position is eligible for a competitive bonus program. Benefits include health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave, education programs, paid holidays and vacation time. Some benefits have eligibility requirements. No relocation support is available.
