Job summary

Hotwire Communications is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Naples, FL to ensure efficient processing of supplies, stock, and shipments throughout the warehouse and delivery system.

You will maintain inventory controls, coordinate transportation, and oversee order fulfillment and transport cycles while controlling costs and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in logistics management is preferred.
• Minimum two years of warehouse work experience.
• Flexibility to work 24/7/365 shifts including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a computerized database tracking status, reconditioning, and disbursement of equipment.
• Facilitate shipping of products between destinations.
• Arrange transportation, schedule staff, and orchestrate deliveries to meet demand.
• Receive products and coordinate delivery; prepare loads for shipment.
• Oversee inventory, freight costs, and streamline shipping processes.
• Ensure warehouse capacity is maintained and deadlines are met.

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for making sure supplies, stock, materials, packages, and/or products are processed through the delivery and/or warehouse system efficiently and safely. The incumbent must maintain and develop inventory distribution controls in accordance with agreed business plans.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and develop a computerized database tracking the current status, reconditioning and disbursement of equipment.
• Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another.
• Arrange transportation, schedule staff, and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay.
• Receive products and coordinate delivery.
• Prepare loads for shipment.
• Takes steps to avoid quality control issues.
• Ensure warehouse capacity is kept at optimal levels.
• Manage activities throughout the order fulfillment and transportation cycle to meet established deadlines.
• Oversee inventory of goods and vehicles.
• Continually review freight costs, transportation rates, and/or the prices of raw materials to keep costs down where possible.
• Streamline shipping and transportation processes.

Minimum Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree preferred but not required.
• Experience in logistics management preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of warehouse work experience.
• Flexibility to work shifts in a 24/7/365 environment, including weekends, nights, and holidays based on business needs.
