Job summary

Brady Corporation, based in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to oversee daily shipment operations, including routing, tracking, and freight documentation. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
  • High School education or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication.
  • Collaborate with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives.
  • Efficient in Google tools, understanding the Google suite and operating Gemini.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate deliveries to meet client deadlines and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Use reporting tools to identify process compliance and cost saving opportunities.
  • Manage and route Less Than Truckload shipments for both Brady locations and vendors/customers in need of support.
  • Route small parcel shipments by creating labels and export documentation, using the carrier’s system (UPS, FEDEX, DHL, etc.).
  • Use of ERP system to research shipment statuses, addressing customer and internal inquiries.
  • Work directly with all carriers in compliance to our rates, processes and maintaining partnerships with each.
  • Manage the logistics email inbox and ensure timely resolution on all requests.
  • Conduct spot quotes for international imports and exports via Air and Less than Container Load Ocean (LCL), supporting requests from vendors and Brady sites.
  • Conduct spot quotes for Truckload (FTL) shipments with Brady and it’s customers/vendors.
  • File freight claims as incidents arise across all modes of transportation.
