Job summary

Jung Brokerage is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Mascoutah, IL to help keep shipments moving and support customers and carriers. You will develop carrier relationships, manage loads in the TMS, and resolve issues in real time as part of a collaborative team.

The role emphasizes communication, initiative, and dependable service as you assist with dispatch, tracking, billing support, and account documentation.

Responsibilities

• Use the Transportation Management System (TMS) to confirm loads are accepted, accurate, and properly built.
• Monitor and respond to customer, carrier, and internal emails in a timely and professional manner.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with carriers, primary contacts, and internal team members.
• Assist with shipment tracking and provide timely updates throughout the delivery process.
• Support dispatch, check-calling, load booking, and day-to-day freight coordination as needed.
• Communicate consistently with customers to support service quality, strengthen relationships, and help grow accounts.
• Stay aware of market trends and lane conditions to help secure competitive truck rates.
• Provide customers with accurate updates on carrier locations, delivery status, potential issues, and delays.
• Maintain accurate notes and load information in the TMS for clear visibility and follow-up.
• Take initiative to resolve customer questions or concerns, working with team leadership to identify effective solutions.
• Assist with Accounts Receivable follow-up for assigned accounts.
• Support accurate invoicing, rate management, and account documentation.
