Our client in Marlboro, MA is looking to bring on a Global Logistics Coordinator to join their team.

Duties:

• The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for facilitating, coordinating, and managing all domestic and international shipments and receiving incoming materials to inventory.
• The position ensures that international shipments comply with customs rules and regulations.
• Plan, prepare, and process export, import, and trans-border activities by country.
• Work with Trade Compliance to conduct day-to-day trade activities, ensuring compliance including shipping documentation, export license determination, Harmonized System Code (HS) classification, Valuation, and Incoterms.
• Responsible for Shipping & Receiving, ensuring products and parts are shipped and received promptly.

Experience:

• Experience with global/international shipping & receiving, inventory management, cycle counting, ERP systems.
• Experience with international trade compliance.
• Strong knowledge of customs regimes such as harmonized tariff schedules, customs valuations, controlled products, country of origin rules, free trade programs, import VAT rules, and US law on banned/boycotted countries is a plus.
• Experience working with an ERP system.
• Knowledge of Microsoft NAV.
