Job summary

USI Insurance Services is seeking a Warehouse Support role in the Chester, PA area to run daily logistics operations and support computer equipment preparation for shipment. You will welcome delivery trucks, receive shipments, label merchandise, stock inventory, and enter data into inventory and logistics software.

This role also covers cyber security duties in line with USI policies, requiring good teamwork, strong organization, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Forklift Certification will be considered an advantage.
• Previous working experience as a Warehouse Worker.
• Hands on experience with inventory and logistics software programs.
• Great physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

General Description

Responsible for providing computer services / support to USI offices and clients.This position's major responsibility area is to manage warehouse daily operations.

Responsibilities

Welcome delivery trucks

Receive and track shipments

Accommodate and carefully handle fragile merchandise

Track and document exact shipment arrival and departure times

Tag and label merchandise

Label and stockpile merchandise according to size, shape, and type.

Box, wrap and pack merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards

Prepare all orders for shipment

Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items

Operate adequate merchandise management tools (for example, forklift)

Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs

Configure computer equipment for shipment and wipe configurations for reuse/disposal

Other duties as specified

Cyber Security Job Responsibilities

Operate in accordance with USI Policies for the Information Security Program (PISP) and USI Standards for the Information Security Program (SISP)

Keep up to date with security updates and improvements. Implement improvements as appropriate.

Protect systems against unauthorized access by appropriately defining access.

Upgrade systems by implementing and maintaining security and technical controls.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Forklift Operation Certification will be considered an advantage

Previous working experience as a Warehouse Worker

Hands on experience with inventory and logistics software programs

Great physical stamina and manual dexterity

Prior experience with; Microsoft Office and ServiceNow is a plus

Strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and people skills

This is an hourly, non-exempt position starting at $21.63/ hour. Bonus eligible position with a target incentive of 5%.
