Job summary

Stores.com is seeking a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to manage day-to-day carrier interactions, confirm pickup windows, and ensure accurate shipment records.

You will track shipments, verify SLAs, and coordinate inbound freight with warehouse teams while collaborating with vendors and internal staff to resolve issues and maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in an ecommerce fulfillment or distribution center environment preferred.
• Exposure to a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for order tracking and inventory management.
• Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM/logistics platform for logging activities.
• Working knowledge of Google Sheets for data tracking and reporting.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities with deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication with carriers and internal teams.
• High attention to detail and proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for external carriers, drivers, and 3PL providers to confirm pick-up windows and delivery details.
• Shipment tracking & visibility; verify that carriers adhere to scheduled pick-up times, route plans, and SLAs; maintain records of shipments and contacts.
• Support scheduling of inbound freight appointments and coordinate dock availability with the warehouse team.
• Communicate by phone, email, text, and in person with internal teams, vendors, carriers, and drivers.
• Coordinate transportation timing in alignment with Receiving and warehouse schedules.
• Assist with inbound receiving workflows and driver check-in — confirming ASNs, reconciling PO quantities, and flagging discrepancies.
• Assist with resolving day-to-day logistics issues including shipping delays, damaged goods, and route deviations by coordinating with carriers and internal teams.
• Act as a first point of contact when delivery concerns arise; document outcomes and escalate complex cases.

• Exposure to a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for order tracking, receiving, and inventory management.
• Proficiency in Salesforce (or comparable CRM/logistics platform) for logging activities and managing communications preferred.
• Working knowledge of Google Sheets is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate clearly with carriers, warehouse staff, and internal stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
