Job summary

Ascendo-Resources is seeking a dependable Logistics Coordinator in Valencia, CA to support a high-volume laboratory operation. This onsite role handles receiving, sorting, staging, and preparing inbound and outbound shipments while ensuring materials follow established procedures.

You will offload at loading dock, manage temperature-controlled shipments, inspect and package for carriers, maintain a clean workspace, and follow safety procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or laboratory support preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with offloading inbound shipments at the loading dock.
  • Sort incoming shipments by temperature requirements (ambient, refrigerated, frozen, and combination shipments).
  • Process and handle temperature monitoring devices according to procedures.
  • Inspect, sort, and stage incoming laboratory shipments.
  • Move containers, bins, and materials throughout the facility.
  • Report shipment discrepancies, damaged shipments, or empty containers.
  • Prepare shipping containers and packaging materials for outbound carrier pickups.
  • Collect and manage dry ice bins and shipping supplies.
  • Assist laboratory departments with preparing outbound shipments.
  • Assemble, package, label, and stage shipments for courier and carrier pickup.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company quality, safety, and operational procedures.

This role is responsible for receiving, sorting, staging, and preparing inbound and outbound shipments while ensuring materials are handled according to established procedures.
