Edison Smart is hiring on behalf of our client for a Logistics Controller | Houston, TX

We're looking for a Logistics Controller to support real-time operations in the control room for a leading energy company based in Houston.

This role is responsible for coordinating and tracking all oilfield logistics activity - from verifying truck tickets and monitoring tank levels to dispatch scheduling and reconciling recovered barrels. You'll be the central point of contact between field teams, trucking partners, and internal stakeholders, ensuring smooth and efficient oil movement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reconcile truck tickets and verify volume, timing, and delivery accuracy
• Monitor tank levels and coordinate timely pickups with field teams
• Schedule and dispatch trucks based on real-time logistics priorities
• Maintain detailed logs of all loads, carriers, drivers, and delivery points
• Liaise with third-party trucking companies to manage field execution
• Input and maintain logistics data in internal systems and reports
• Support monthly reporting and identify areas for process improvement
