About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Controller to oversee the financial operations of our diverse portfolio, which includes oil & gas Exploration and production of wells and real estate rental property management. This strategic leadership role is responsible for ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across all entities.

Responsibilities:

·Lead and manage all accounting operations, including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.

·Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and reports for multiple entities.

·Develop and monitor internal controls to ensure data integrity and safeguard company assets.

·Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

·Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.

·Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.

·Implement and maintain financial systems and process improvements.

·Provide strategic financial insights to support executive decision-making.

Qualifications :

·Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).

·Minimum 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a Controller role.

·Experience in oil & gas wells production operations and real estate rental property management highly preferred.

·Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations.

·Proficiency in accounting software, including PAK, Buildium, QuickBooks, and ERP systems.

·Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
