Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Control Clerk in Eden Prairie, MN for 1st shift (7am-3:30pm, M-F). Pay range is $25.00-$27.00 per hour. The role supports the Livescan department with order review, BOM-based picking and shipment preparation.

The technician assembles Livescan cabinets, connects devices and cables, and performs wiring and testing to ensure consistent system performance. Inventory is maintained with cycle counts, and flexibility to assist in other areas is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen who can pass a significant government background check.
• GED or high school diploma required.
• Experience with data entry, ERP systems and MS Office Suite is desirable at intermediate level.
• Knowledge of inventory principles, part numbers, serial numbers and barcode scanners preferred.
• Must be a team player with positive attitude and focused work habits.

• Reviews orders to the order schedule, prints and picks orders according to BOM, and prepares orders for shipment.

• Conducts assembly and wiring in a systematic, orderly fashion for consistent performance.

Job Summary

• Performs a variety of tasks in support of the Livescan department and other areas as required.
• Reviews orders to the order schedule, prints & picks orders according to the BOM, and prepares orders for shipment.
• Assembles Livescan cabinets, including all associated devices and cable connections.
• Conducts assembly and wiring in a systematic, orderly fashion so that every system looks professionally built and performs identically.
• Tests system for functionality then hands off to Integration for software loading.
• Maintains inventory with regular cycle counts.
• May be asked to perform work in other functional areas, clean and organize the work area and take on additional duties as assigned.

Experience and Education:

• Must be a US citizen who can pass a significant government background check, including detailed legal, financial and work history.
• GED or high school diploma
• Experience with data entry, ERP systems and MS Office Suite is highly desirable at an intermediate level.
• Knowledge of inventory principles, part numbers, serial numbers and use of handheld barcode scanners is preferred. 5S familiarity is a plus.
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude and focused work habits.
• Lifts/carries items up to 35 lbs.
• Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to senior staff.
• Must be able to stand, crouch and bend for extended periods while safely using box cutters, rechargeable hand tools and other hand tools and pallet jacks typical to an assembly environment.
• Reliable transportation to location.
