Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Plymouth, MI is seeking an Inventory Associate to support production and inventory management within the Americas Operations team. You will kIt components, report discrepancies in BOM, perform daily cycle counts, and maintain organized storage locations.

The role emphasizes accuracy, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Contract through April 2027 with first shift Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM, focusing on continuous improvement and safety in the Materials

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse, materials, or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of MRP systems preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and barcode scanning equipment preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong attention to detail.
• Contract through April 2027

Responsibilities

• Support production by accurately kitting components according to work orders using barcode scanning technology.
• Identify and report discrepancies in the Bill of Material (BOM) to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Perform daily cycle counts and replenish shortages as components arrive late.
• Maintain organized storage locations and update visual management labels to reflect current work order status.
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the Materials Department.

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Inventory Associate to join their team. As a Inventory Associate you will be part of the Americas Operations department supporting production and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Inventory Associate

Location: Plymouth, MI

Pay Range: $23 - $26/ hr

Shift: 1st Shift Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM (Flexible)
