Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Kings Mountain, NC, is hiring a Distribution Clerk to support our Logistics team. You will handle clerical tasks, process shipment documents, update the Blue Yonder WMS, and help ensure accurate inventory and smooth warehouse workflow.

This role uses Microsoft Office daily, requires strong typing and organization, and offers a rotating schedule while supporting inbound and outbound operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a clerical or administrative role in warehouse/distribution.
• Familiarity with Blue Yonder WMS or similar systems.
• Excellent typing, filing, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Verify and process incoming shipment documents.
• Update inventory records in Blue Yonder WMS.
• Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate records of received goods.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation.
• Update order status and inventory in WMS.
• Communicate with carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
• Ensure outbound documentation is complete.
• Maintain organized warehouse transaction files.
• Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Generate reports on inventory, shipments, and warehouse activities.
• Support Warehouse Manager with admin tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
