Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to schedule trucks and assign loads, ensuring FIFO practices and accurate load documentation. You will liaise with customer service, plant management, drivers, and warehouse personnel to keep shipments on track.

The role requires strong computer skills (SAP, WMS, Excel), attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 2-year degree preferred in logistics or inventory management.
• Three years in a clerical role in warehouse/logistics environment.
• Strong computer skills including SAP, WMS, Excel; ability to generate reports and interpret inventory data.

Responsibilities

• Schedule trucks and load assignments; prepare inbound/outbound load schedules.
• Prepare load documents (BOL, shipping docs) per DOT and customer specs; maintain FIFO inventory.
• Coordinate with customer service, plant management, drivers, and warehouse staff; communicate load issues promptly.
• Review inventory availability and optimize product dates to maintain FIFO; ensure accurate system transactions.
