Job summary

Olgoonik is seeking a Transportation Assistant in Tracy, CA on a temporary full-time basis. The role arranges movement of commercial shipments, tracks loads from departure to destination, and ensures proper labeling and seals are applied.

You will maintain shipment records and support daily logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be able to operate related equipment, work as part of a team, and hold a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Ability to work as a team member.
• Positive attitude towards work and the team.
• Operate skid steer, backhoe, mini-excavator, loader, trencher, etc.
• Driving may be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Prepares staging labels for cargo and ensures proper equipment loading.
• Assigns seal numbers to domestic shipments to secure cargo.
• Monitors shipments from departure to receipt at destination.
• Handles Bill of Lading and signs delivery paperwork.
• Notes domestic shipments in weekly, monthly, and yearly reports.
• Maintains spreadsheet on domestic shipment reports.
• Signs proof of delivery on the delivery date.
