Role Description

The Logistics Broker is a full-time, on-site role based in New Albany, IN, responsible for coordinating freight moves between shippers and carriers. Day-to-day tasks include sourcing and qualifying carriers, negotiating rates, and securing capacity to meet customer requirements. The role involves managing load details, tracking shipments, resolving service issues, and ensuring timely delivery. The Logistics Broker will maintain strong relationships with existing accounts, respond promptly to customer inquiries, and provide proactive updates on shipment status. This position also requires accurate documentation, use of internal systems to manage orders, and collaboration with operations and sales teams to support overall business growth.
