Job summary

dancker is seeking a dependable Logistics Associate in Edison, NJ to support the movement, storage, and tracking of assets and materials. You will operate forklifts and pallets, ensure inventory accuracy, and uphold safety standards to maintain efficient operations.

You will coordinate asset handling across multiple teams, perform routine counts and audits, and use inventory systems and MS Office to maintain records.

Qualifications

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and clean driving record.
  • Experience in logistics or asset management, inventory controls, and safety compliance preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and similar equipment.
  • Familiarity with inventory systems and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Support movement, tracking, and documentation of assets and materials across the organization.
  • Process inbound, outbound, returned, and transferred assets with accurate system updates.
  • Perform equipment intake, inspections, and inventory reconciliations to maintain accuracy.
  • Coordinate asset retrieval, staging, storage, and deployment for projects.
  • Maintain inventory records and transactional data across systems.
  • Conduct routine cycle counts and audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Organize warehouse and staging areas for safety and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, transportation, installation, and project teams.
  • Assist with daily planning of resources and priorities to meet commitments.
  • Ensure transport activities comply with DOT regulations and safety standards.
  • Monitor performance related to inventory, productivity, and service.

Job Title: Logistics Associate

The difference you’ll make: We're looking for a dependable, safety-focused Logistics Associate to help ensure the seamless movement of assets, materials, and equipment throughout dancker's operations. In this role, you'll play a critical part in supporting the delivery, storage, inventory, and asset management processes that allow our teams to serve clients efficiently and effectively.

As a key member of the logistics and operations team, you'll safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse and material-handling equipment to support daily operations while ensuring inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and workplace safety. Through attention to detail, operational discipline, and a commitment to service excellence, you'll contribute to a reliable client experience and efficient business operations.

How you’ll make an impact:
  • Support the accurate movement, tracking, and documentation of assets, materials, and equipment throughout the organization.
  • Process inbound, outbound, returned, and transferred assets while ensuring accurate system updates and documentation.
  • Perform equipment intake, inspections, condition assessments, and reconciliation activities to maintain inventory integrity.
  • Coordinate the retrieval, staging, storage, and deployment of assets to support operational and project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and transactional data within inventory, logistics, and operational systems.
  • Perform routine cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliations to ensure high levels of inventory accuracy.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse, storage, and staging areas to support safety, efficiency, and asset accessibility.
  • Partner with warehouse, transportation, installation, service, and project teams to coordinate asset movement and operational handoffs.
  • Assist with daily planning of resources, equipment, workloads, and priorities to meet business and service commitments.
  • Ensure transportation activities comply with applicable DOT regulations, vehicle inspection requirements, and company safety standards.
  • Monitor operational performance related to inventory accuracy, productivity, timeliness, quality, and customer service.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, operational issues, and process failures and support corrective action planning.
  • Follow established standard operating procedures to ensure consistent execution across all locations and operations.
  • Utilize business systems and operational tools to maintain accurate records, reporting, and status visibility.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, safety, and service delivery.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment while supporting company safety initiatives and operational best practices.
What you’ll bring to this role:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience operating straight trucks and supporting transportation or logistics activities.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, transportation, or asset management processes preferred.
  • Understanding of DOT regulations, vehicle inspections, safety requirements, and transportation compliance practices preferred.
  • Certification and/or demonstrated experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively within a fast-paced logistics environment strongly preferred.
  • Experience handling high-value, technical, healthcare, or regulated equipment preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, accountability, and process consistency.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate activities across locations, teams, and operational functions.
  • Experience performing inventory counts, audits, reconciliations, and asset tracking activities.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic proficiency with inventory systems, operational software, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Physical ability to safely lift, move, transport, and handle equipment and materials throughout the workday.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, quality, and exceptional customer service.
