Fortune Electric American inc in the United States is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Assistant to join our team. This role offers a path to grow into a Logistics Coordinator with full training provided.

Responsibilities include coordinating with freight forwarders, preparing cost comparisons, tracking shipments, and generating freight invoices while maintaining accurate shipping records. Training is provided, with potential for advancement.

Qualifications

BS or AS degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong numerical reasoning and Excel proficiency.
Attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Receive power transformer data from overseas teams and coordinate with freight forwarders to obtain shipping quotes.
Prepare cost comparison summaries for management review and approval.
Track shipments and provide regular status updates to Sales, Service, and customers.
Resolve shipping issues with vendors and cost optimize with internal teams.
Coordinate delivery schedules and confirm shipment completion.
Generate and submit freight invoices to Accounting.
Maintain accurate shipping records and support logistics operations.
