PTR Global is supporting a rapidly growing AI infrastructure company in the buildout and operation of hyperscale data centers. We are seeking a hands-on Logistics & Asset Lead to help build and manage onsite logistics and asset-management operations as these facilities scale.
This is not a traditional warehouse management position. We are looking for someone who can operate at an operations-lead level while remaining hands-on with receiving, inventory, asset tracking, material flow, and data-center equipment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own onsite receiving, shipping, inventory, asset tracking, and vendor coordination.
- Track assets from receipt through deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning.
- Tag, label, inspect, and maintain accurate system records for equipment and materials.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments and resolve discrepancies, damages, and shortages.
- Maintain high inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical audits, and reconciliation.
- Fulfill parts and equipment requests for technicians and engineers.
- Keep staging, storage, and material areas organized and ready for operations.
- Identify material shortages or inventory issues before they impact construction, repairs, or deployments.
- Manage RMAs, warranty claims, replacements, and related logistics.
- Coordinate with vendors, carriers, contractors, and internal operations teams.
- Track and report inventory metrics, including accuracy, shortages, turns, and obsolescence.
- Build, document, and improve logistics processes as the site grows.
- Support a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities can change quickly.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience owning logistics, inventory, or asset-management operations in a data center, warehouse, manufacturing, or high-volume hardware environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with receiving, shipping, inventory control, cycle counting, and real-time inventory tracking.
- Experience handling high-value or technology-related equipment is strongly preferred.
- Experience with data center hardware such as servers, networking equipment, GPUs, or other IT assets is a plus.
- Experience managing RMAs, warranty replacements, vendors, or inbound/outbound logistics.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to inventory accuracy and detail.
- Ability to use data and operational metrics to identify problems and improve processes.
- Comfortable taking end-to-end ownership and working independently in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Experience with WMS, ERP, asset-management systems, barcode scanners, or RFID is preferred.
