Job description

Our client is one of the fastest-growing companies building the physical infrastructure behind next-generation AI. They are developing and operating massive-scale compute environments across the US, with plans to scale their data center footprint significantly over the coming years.

The business operates with a high degree of ownership and urgency.

Rather than stepping into a mature corporate operating model, employees are given the opportunity to help build the processes, standards and systems that will support the company as it scales. This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants real responsibility within one of the fastest-moving areas of data center infrastructure.

The Role

We are looking for a Logistics Asset Lead to own site-level logistics, inventory control and asset management within a fast-paced data center environment.

You will ensure critical hardware, parts and equipment are received, tracked, stored and deployed accurately, while helping establish the processes required to support rapid site growth and ongoing operations.

Locations: Must be able to relocate to TX or IN (relocation compensated for). Exact location provided after you apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day receiving, shipping, inventory and asset management activities.
  • Ensure all hardware and equipment is accurately tagged, logged and tracked from arrival through deployment.
  • Maintain 99%+ inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits and strong inventory controls.
  • Coordinate staging and distribution of critical parts for technicians, engineering teams and deployment projects.
  • Identify shortages, discrepancies and supply risks before they impact site operations.
  • Maintain organized, safe and deployment-ready warehouse and staging areas.
  • Manage RMAs, warranty claims, vendor returns and associated asset records.
  • Improve logistics and asset management processes as the site and wider organization scale.
  • Partner closely with operations, engineering, deployment and vendor teams.
What We're Looking For
  • Strong experience in logistics, inventory, asset management or warehouse operations, ideally within a data center, hardware or high-volume technical environment.
  • Proven ownership of inventory accuracy and asset tracking.
  • Experience coordinating material flow in a fast-moving operational environment.
  • Strong understanding of asset management systems, barcode/RFID tracking or inventory platforms.
  • Comfortable taking ownership, identifying problems early and improving processes.
  • Experience with servers, networking hardware, GPUs or hyperscale data centers is highly advantageous.
  • Previous experience leading logistics processes, teams or site-level operations is preferred.
