Job summary

Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is hiring a Business Analyst to build and optimize data dashboards, reports, and metrics across the transportation network. You will partner with Fulfillment Centers, Sort Centers, Delivery Stations, and other teams to surface insights that drive cost efficiency and on-time delivery.

The role emphasizes data extraction, SQL/ETL automation, and cross-functional collaboration to support strategic projects and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 2+ years of complex Excel VBA macros writing experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
• Experience with SQL or ETL

Responsibilities

• Generating/extracting data from BI databases to support dive deep activities
• Prioritizing, optimizing and delivering timely updates for metrics
• Automating reports and tools with a combination of SQL, Excel
• Partnering with stakeholders to understand business challenges and provide data/analysis to help drive projects
• Uncovering trends and correlations through data mining and analysis to develop insights that can improve the business and help make effective decisions
• Building dashboards and tools that will allow our team and cross-functional partners to self-service their data needs whenever possible
• Graphically expressing data to allow easy access and understanding for a broad range of people
