Job summary

Requires a bachelor’s in a related field and 3+ years’ experience; SAP and MS Office proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 3+ years experience in supply chain, logistics, agriculture or related field.
• Structured, self-disciplined work approach and ability to prioritize,
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to develop expertise in the domain.
• Strong written and verbal communication and influence skills.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Knowledge of NGFA/NAEGA/GAFTA practices preferred.
• Industry experience in commodity trading, barge transport, or vessels preferred.

Responsibilities

• Align inputs to execute a multi-commodity export program and optimize assets.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align supplies and transport equipment.
• Oversee documentation for trade and logistics activities.
• Assist with vessel laytime settlement and related tasks.
• Input and distribute data and reporting in systems.
• Analyze cost-containment opportunities and metrics.
• Establish and report KPI targets for sales, volumes, expenses.
• Develop continuous improvement plans for processes and systems.
• Maintain standard operating procedures for key processes.
• Participate in project teams and lead where needed.
• Facilitate strategic logistics discussions and cross-group communication.
• Provide system training and support to users; back up other roles.
