• Manage carrier selection, quotes, and routing to meet service and cost goals.
• Prepare shipping documents: bills of lading, invoices, air waybills.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, Incoterms, and customs.
• Track shipments and provide proactive status updates.
• Resolve issues like delays, damages, shortages, and customs challenges.
• Analyze transport data, maintain KPI reporting, identify opportunities for improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Overview

As a Logistics Analyst, you will support Brightstar Lottery's transportation and supply chain operations by coordinating domestic and international shipments, analyzing logistics performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role plays a critical part in ensuring cost-effective, compliant, and on-time delivery across multiple transportation modes while serving as a key partner to internal stakeholders and external logistics providers. This role will be located onsite in West Greenwich, Rhode Island.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments across air, ocean, and over-the-road transportation modes.
• Manage carrier selection, freight quotations, and routing decisions to support service and cost objectives.
• Prepare shipping documentation including bills of lading, commercial invoices, air waybills, and export-related forms.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, Incoterms, customs requirements, and company policies.
• Track shipments throughout the transportation lifecycle and communicate status updates proactively.
• Resolve transportation issues including delays, damages, shortages, and customs-related challenges.
• Analyze transportation data, maintain KPI reporting, and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of global shipping processes, freight management, and Incoterms.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is required

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $55,631 - $98,467. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.
