Job summary

C.H. Robinson is seeking an Account Manager to deliver high-quality customer experience by ensuring accurate order entry and effective internal communication. This hybrid role is based in the Lisle, IL office and focuses on growth and retention for a defined customer portfolio.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet service levels, support new business implementations, and drive continuous improvement in SOPs to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 2 years in transportation, logistics, and/or brokerage environment.
• Strong data entry and attention to detail.
• Proactive communication with other departments.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-service oriented with problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Serve as key contact for assigned book of customers.
• Enter quotes and shipments with load/service requirements.
• Monitor and escalate coverage challenges for timely resolution.
• Ensure accurate order billing for all orders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for customer expectations alignment.
• Support new business implementations and SOP updates.
• Provide insights for Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews.
