As a salesperson at Dynamo Freight, your primary responsibility will be to acquire new clients and generate sales opportunities through a proactive and targeted approach. You will engage with potential customers to understand their logistics requirements and present comprehensive solutions tailored to their specific business needs. Your success will be measured by the number of sales calls made each day, as well as the conversion rate and overall growth of your customer base.

Training Program:

The first 26 weeks of this role will consist of an extensive training program designed to equip you with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel as a 3PL salesperson. During this period, you will gain a thorough understanding of the inner workings of logistics, delving into industry nuances, best practices, and customer expectations. This comprehensive training will not only arm you with the expertise needed to effectively engage with prospects but also enable you to foster strong relationships with carriers and customers alike.

Lead Generation and Customer Base Development:

In addition to making sales calls, you will have the opportunity to develop your own customer base through lead generation activities. This involves taking an active role in identifying potential prospects, evaluating their logistics requirements, and devising strategies to effectively engage them. By leveraging your creativity, market research skills, and understanding of customer pain points, you will generate targeted leads to cultivate long-term business relationships.

Responsibilities:

- Make a minimum of 100 sales calls per day to potential clients.

- Conduct thorough customer needs analysis to propose tailored 3PL solutions.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, and other stakeholders.

- Utilize lead generation skills to develop a sustainable customer base.

- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of customer logistics requirements.

- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics.

- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs established by the company.

- Continuously improve sales techniques through feedback and self-development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Proven track record in sales, with experience in the logistics industry preferred.

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and persistent.

- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities.

- Sound knowledge of logistics operations, customer service, and supply chain management.

- Resilient and adaptable to changing market conditions.

- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
