Position: Directly support the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), F/A-18 & EA-18G Fleet Support Team (FST) at Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) Naval Air Station (NAS) North Island, California.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and coordinate logistical functions in support of multiple engineering and sustainment efforts, including Structural Avionics/Electrical Engineering RDT&E, SLAP/SLEP, OOR, and ISR.
- Support high‑tempo kitting operations related to airframe changes, adapting to fast‑paced and shifting requirements in a dynamic environment.
- Assist in tracking and managing over 4,000 components across 361 part numbers, ensuring alignment with evolving directives from PMA‑265 and other operational stakeholders.
- Coordinate procurement, inventory control, collaboration with FRCSW manufacturing, and outbound logistics to meet mission timelines and support readiness.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with logistics systems and tools, including ATLS, OneTouch, WebFLIS and Navy ERP.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Current Secret clearance is required.
- Minimum of 3 to 10 years of experience in Management, Technical or Business analysis disciplines.
- BS or BA degree in Engineering, Logistics, Science or a relevant technical discipline (six years of additional work experience may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree).
- Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods in an office environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base Salary Range: $35.00–$45.00 (for residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Washington; other geographies may vary).
