Job summary

Idaho Forest Group seeks Log Yard Operators with heavy equipment experience to join our Moyie Springs team. A $1,000 sign-on incentive and starting pay of $28.93 per hour, DOE, are included. This is a full-time on-site role operating heavy equipment to sort logs, unload trucks, and move logs to the mill.

The position offers full benefits after 30 days, plus 401(k) with 5% company match and eight paid holidays. Swing shift and diverse duties are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED or willingness to obtain one.
• Must be able to work varying shifts, days, and overtime as needed.
• Pre-employment screening including background check, drug test, references, and driving history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to sort logs by size and species.
• Unload logs from trucks and deliver logs to the mill.
• Maintain production pace and perform duties safely as part of the log yard team.
