• Knowledge of food and beverage products including menu items and prices for all meal periods.
• Knowledge of hours of operations.
• Knowledge of property-wide facilities and services.

• Able to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome every guest as they enter the lodge restaurants.
• Acknowledge and thank all guests as they depart.
• Confirm the number of people in each party and inquire about special needs or requests.
• Record necessary information on waiting lists when the restaurant is full.
• Use proper paging procedures when paging on a wait list.
• Escort guests to the table and hand out menus.
• Ensure tables are properly set up and seated in rotation.
• Assist servers with refilling beverages and clearing tables as directed by management.
• Train and welcome new hosts/hostesses and coach the host team.
• Communicate guest information and feedback with the manager-on-duty.
