A reputable community-based outpatient cancer center in Worcester, MA is seeking a Radiation Oncologist (MD/DO) for a 6-month locums assignment with the possibility of extension. Qualifications

• Active DEA license or ability to obtain before start.
• Experience with SBRT, IMRT, and 3D treatments is required.
• Massachusetts medical license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

This opportunity offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with nocall responsibilities in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat patients withcancer requiring radiation therapy
• Perform and manage SBRT, IMRT, and3D radiation treatments
• See an average of 15–20 patients ontreatment daily, with 5 new patient consultations per week
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinaryoncology team to deliver comprehensive cancer care
• Participate in treatment planningand review with dosimetrists and physicists
• Complete thorough documentation inthe EMR system
• Attend virtual interviews andonboarding via Webex or Teams

Schedule& Coverage Details:

• Monday to Friday
• No nights, weekends, or call
• Outpatient only – community-basedhospital setting

Requirements:

• MD or DO with completion of anaccredited Radiation Oncology residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible inRadiation Oncology
• Active DEA license (or ability toobtain prior to start)
• Experience with SBRT, IMRT, and 3Dtreatments required
• No brachytherapy experiencenecessary
• Strong interpersonal andcommunication skills
• Massachusetts medical license (orability to obtain)
