Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Physiatrist (PM&R) to provide consistent outpatient clinic coverage in South Burlington, Vermont. This opportunity offers a structured schedule in a collaborative environment, supporting a broad range of patients in both outpatient and inpatient rehab settings.

Position Overview
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Expected Coverage: 4 days per week, weekly basis / 4 weeks per month
  • Call: One weekend per month, 24-hour call coverage (inpatient rehab, up to 20 patients)
Scope of Practice
  • Conduct outpatient clinic sessions for spasticity management, including Botox treatment
  • Manage patients with spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis (MS), and general rehabilitation needs
  • Perform EMG studies and electrodiagnostic testing
  • Conduct joint injections and other musculoskeletal procedures as appropriate
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive rehabilitative care
  • Provide consultative support and inpatient rehab coverage during call weekends

  • Full clinic schedule (outpatient)
  • Inpatient rehab coverage: Up to 20 patients during call weekends
