Palm Careers is seeking experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants with Neonatal Fellowship training to cover a high-acuity Level IV NICU in Michigan. This locum tenens role involves managing critically ill neonates, attending deliveries, and performing advanced neonatal procedures in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

The assignment runs October 2026 through March 2027, with roughly 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, including days and nights.

Formación

• NNP or PA with Neonatal Fellowship training.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Level IV NICU experience.
• Ability to attend deliveries.
• Neonatal transport experience preferred.
• Flight or ground transport experience preferred.
• ECMO experience required.

Pediatric Neonatal APP – Locum Tenens

Position: Locum Tenens – Full-Time or Part-Time

Setting: Inpatient

Coverage: October 2026 – March 2027

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) or Physician Assistants with Neonatal Fellowship training to provide locum tenens coverage in a high-acuity Level IV NICU.

This is an excellent opportunity for providers comfortable caring for critically ill neonates, managing a high-volume patient population, attending deliveries, and performing advanced neonatal procedures.

Schedule

• • Approximately 3 twelve-hour shifts per week
• • Day shift: 6:45 AM–6:45 PM
• • Night shift: 6:45 PM–6:45 AM
• • Seven days a week
• • Monday–Friday is the greatest need
• • Flexible with day or night shift preferences

• • Day coverage includes multiple physicians and APPs
• • Night coverage includes NNPs and a physician
• • Collaborative neonatal team
• • No resident supervision required
