Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) seeks a Locums Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide inpatient oncology hospitalist coverage in Worcester, Massachusetts. This long-term opportunity includes a 1-year assignment with potential extension.

The physician will work 40 hours per week across four 10-hour shifts, ideally Tuesday–Friday, with Epic EMR documentation and bone marrow biopsy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with hematology/oncology board certification/eligibility
• Completion of hematology/oncology fellowship required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient hematology/oncology hospitalist care in a collaborative environment
• Manage a mix of independent patient care and team-based decisions
• Document patient care in Epic EMR and participate in care planning
• Perform bone marrow biopsy as needed and contribute to tumor boards

The physician will provide inpatienthematology/oncology care in a collaborative environment, with a mix ofindependent patient management and working alongside other providers.

Compensation: $450 Per Hour
