Job summary

IMP Locum Tenens, LLC seeks a Locums Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide inpatient hospitalist coverage in Worcester, Massachusetts. This is a long-term assignment (1 year) with potential extension, involving 40 hours per week and 4 × 10-hour shifts, ideally Tuesday–Friday, with start date ASAP.

The role includes 12–15 patient encounters daily, a mix of independent management and collaborative care, and EMR: Epic.

Qualifications

• Inpatient hematology/oncology hospitalist coverage.
• Start ASAP, 1-year assignment with possible extension.
• Approximately 12–15 patient encounters per day.
• EMR: Epic; bone marrow biopsy experience preferred.
• Local candidates preferred; travel candidates considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient hematology/oncology hospitalist care in a collaborative environment.
• Mix of independent patient management and collaboration with other providers.
• Maintain timely documentation and order sets in the EMR.
