Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Locum Veterinarian to provide high-quality preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment for pets in a busy clinical setting. You will communicate treatment plans to clients and collaborate with the veterinary team. This role includes weekend/evening shifts as part of its schedule.

The position requires a DVM/VMD, state license in good standing, and DEA registration. Exceptional client service and strong clinical skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) required.
• License in good standing with the applicable state veterinary board.
• License with the Drug Enforcement Agency required.
• Proven ability to perform all basic surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative care, diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries of Pets.
• Obtain client information and maintain complete medical records.
• Educate clients about preventative care and hospital services.
• Prescribe and administer preventative care and diagnose/treat pets.
