Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Locum Veterinarian to provide preventative care, diagnose and treat diseases in pets. The position offers hourly pay and requires strong clinical and client-communication skills. The role may require occasional weekend/evening hours and adherence to state and federal regulations.

A valid DVM and DEA license are required. You will work with a team to deliver high-quality veterinary care, maintain records, and educate clients on wellness plans and treatments.

Formación

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree required.
• Licensed in good standing with the applicable state veterinary board.
• Licensed to practice with Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
• Proven ability to perform basic surgeries with standard instruments.

Responsabilidades

• Provide preventative care, diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries in pets.
• Educate clients about preventative care and hospital services.
• Maintain accurate medical records and communicate treatment plans to clients and the veterinary team.
• Prescribe and administer preventative care and other treatments as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure clean, organized treatment areas.
