Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is assisting in staffing for an acute psychiatric inpatient unit in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The assignment features a 7 on/7 off schedule, 16–20 patients per day, and supervision of residents with rounding and collaboration.

Involuntary commitments and seclusion/restraint may be required; BLS certification is required. Competitive compensation and pre-paid travel housing are provided, with 24-hour access to Weatherby consultants and NALTO membership.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Experience with acute psychiatric inpatient care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient psychiatric care in an acute unit (7 on/7 off).
• Supervise residents and provide rounding and collaboration.
• Manage involuntary commitments, seclusion, and restraint as required.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team.
