Job summary

CompHealth is recruiting a board-certified pathologist to cover general surgical pathology with a GI/GU focus in a staffing role. The position offers support with credentialing, travel, housing, and malpractice coverage through the agency.

Typical workflow includes handling about 30 cases per day with a focus on GI and GU pathology, while hospital privileges are arranged and the recruiter manages details. Housing and travel are coordinated, and weekly deposits are provided.

Qualifications

• Board-certified pathologist with valid credentials.
• Experience in general surgical pathology.
• Familiarity with GI and GU pathology focus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret 30 general surgical pathology cases per day.
• Focusing on GI and GU specimens.
• Coordinate credentialing and hospital privileges with the staffing firm.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure timely reporting.
