Job summary

CompHealth is seeking locum pathology coverage in Kentucky with a strong emphasis on cytology, including GI, GYN, skin, breast, and lung biopsies and major resections. The role supports a practice of three pathologists and about 16,000 annual cases, with hospital privileges required.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 am–4 pm, with weeknight call. CompHealth arranges housing, travel, and comprehensive malpractice coverage, and coordinates credentialing and privileging for a smooth assignment.

• 60–70 cases per day across surgical and non-gyn cytology.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical and non-GYN cytology coverage (GI, GYN, skin, breast, lung biopsies and major resections).
• Collaborate with remote pathology team support for case review and time entry.
• Assist with credentialing and privileging process as needed.
