Job summary

CompHealth is dedicated to making the locums process seamless for pathologists in Missouri. We handle credentialing, housing, travel arrangements, and comprehensive malpractice coverage so you can focus on patient care and helping patients.

Typical duties include sign-out using PathGroup digital systems, interpreting biopsies (GI, GYN, breast, GU, liver, skin) and cancer resections, with 40–50 cases per day.

• Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm; call required
• 40 - 50 cases per day
• Vacation coverage in 2026 & 2027
• Overflow backup provided by an outside pathology team
• EMR: PathGroup digital sign out system
• Biopsies -- GI, GYN, breast, GU, liver, skin required
• Cancer resections -- breast, lung, colon, and more required
• Peripheral blood smear review and non-gyn cytology required
• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
• We arrange complimentary housing and travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage
• We simplify the credentialing and privileging process
• Access to online portal for assignment details and time entry
