Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks a hospital-based pathologist in Georgia for ongoing coverage. The role includes a mix of surgical pathology and cytology, with grossing responsibilities and approximately one frozen section per week.

The assignment runs 2 weeks per month and supports leave coverage for 6–12 months, with paid malpractice and prepaid travel/housing. You’ll manage time entries via the online portal and have 24/7 access to Weatherby consultants.

Qualifications

• Hospital-based pathology assignment in Georgia.
• Surgical pathology mix and cytology required.
• Grossing required; frozen sections performed — approx. 1 per week.
• Leave coverage — 6 to 12 month initial commitment.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical pathology and cytology services in a hospital setting.
• Perform grossing duties and frozen sections as needed (about 1 per week).
• Maintain accurate time entry and use the online portal for assignment details.
• Support leave coverage with consistent, reliable service over the contract period.
