Job summary

CompHealth seeks a hospital-based general surgeon to cover a busy call schedule and deliver expert surgical care. The assignment includes diabetic foot procedures and both upper and lower endoscopies for an adults-only population.

Hospital privileges are required. The role offers weekly housing and travel arrangements and comprehensive malpractice coverage, with support from a dedicated recruiter throughout credentialing and time-entry processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital-based general surgery required.
• Diabetic foot procedures experience required.
• Endoscopy (upper and lower) experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing call coverage (Thu 7am – Mon 7am) until replacement is secured.
• Deliver general surgery services in a hospital setting.
• Maintain patient care standards while coordinating with facility teams.
