Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in locum tenens assignments preferred.
• Pediatric and neonate surgery experience preferred.
• Stroke certification and hospital setting experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide locums coverage in hospital settings with in-house call at 1:3 and a 20-minute response time.
• Manage approximately 20 phone consults per call period, with 10–15 patients seen and about 10 admissions.
• Support credentialing and privileging processes for assignments.

• In-house call -- 1:3 call ratio with 20-minute response time
• Per call period: ~20 phone consults, 10 - 15 seen, 10 admissions
• Average 10 patients per shift
• Hospital setting with stroke certification
• Trauma, laparoscopic, chest tube, central line, and vascular surgery
• Aneurysm repairs, arterial bypass, and AV shunt procedures required
• Pediatric and neonate surgery experience preferred
• Locums-to-perm opportunity
