Job summary

Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum Interventional Cardiology physician in Mount Vernon, IL. The assignment runs for 13 weeks starting 12-18-26, with standard 24-hour shifts and on-call coverage.

The position requires board certification in cardiology, internal medicine residency, and an interventional cardiology fellowship. Acute care hospital setting and travel/lodging coverage are provided by Aya Locums.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Residency in internal medicine (ACGME or AOA).
• Fellowship in cardiology with interventional training.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures including angioplasty, stenting and catheterizations.
• Provide evaluation and management of patients with cardiovascular conditions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop patient care plans.
