Job summary

Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum Interventional Cardiology physician in North Charleston, South Carolina. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with a 24-hour on-call schedule and standard 5-shift blocks, paying $3,000–$3,200 per day.

This outpatient facility role requires MD/DO with interventional cardiology fellowship, SC license, and ABIM/AOA board credentials. Travel and lodging support are provided through Aya Locums.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Residency in internal medicine (ACGME or AOA)
• Fellowship in interventional cardiology and cardiology board certification

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures (angioplasty, stenting, catheterizations)
• Provide comprehensive evaluation/management of cardiovascular patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team on patient care plans
• Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
• Address acute cardiovascular emergencies and complications
• Maintain detailed medical records
