Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum Interventional Cardiology physician in Newnan, GA. The assignment spans 26 weeks with a start date of 01-27-27, offering a daily rate of $2,500–$2,700 and on-call coverage.

The facility is an acute care hospital and the role requires the ability to work with a multidisciplinary team. Candidate must be board-certified in cardiology with an active Georgia license and have interventional training.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• ACGME/AOA internal medicine residency; interventional cardiology fellowship.
• Board-certified in cardiology; active Georgia medical license.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures (angioplasty, stents, catheterizations).
• Evaluate and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Address acute cardiovascular emergencies and maintain records.
