Aya Locums is seeking a locum Interventional Cardiology physician for Mount Vernon, IL. The assignment pays $400–$425/hour and runs for 13 weeks starting 12-18-26, with standard 24-hour shifts and on-call coverage.

The facility is an Acute Care Hospital; ideal candidates hold an MD/DO with interventional fellowship and active IL license, ready to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• ACGME or AOA internal medicine residency.
• Fellowship in cardiology with interventional training.
• Board certification in cardiology (ABIM or AOA).
• Active Illinois medical license.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures (angioplasty, stenting, catheterizations).
• Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of cardiovascular patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans; manage emergencies.
• Maintain detailed medical records.
