Job summary

Delta Locum Tenens seeks an Interventional Cardiologist for a temporally extended assignment in Illinois. The role involves a mix of inpatient cath lab procedures and outpatient follow-up, supporting a team of cardiology specialists.

Typical schedule is 7:30 am–5:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with night and weekend call. Board Certification/Eligibility in Interventional Cardiology and an active IL license are required.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
• Active Illinois medical license (or eligible).
• CS/DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Cardiac cath lab procedures; PTCA/TEE/Cardioversion/Stress Testing/Echo Read.
• Schedule: 7:30 am–5:30 pm, Mon–Fri with night and weekend call.
• Team includes 4 general cardiologists, 1 CV surgeon, 2 interventional cardiologists, 1 electrophysiologist, 1 pediatric cardiologist, 3 APPs.
