Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a Locums NP for a Gastroenterology position in Virginia. This outpatient GI clinic role includes potential inpatient consults, with no hospital rounds. Onsite physician support is provided when GI physicians are scheduled.

The assignment is 6 weeks, and licensed providers are preferred. Compensation ranges from $80 to $105 per hour. Weatherby offers health, vision, dental, and 401(k) retirement benefits, plus transportation and housing expenses coverage.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient GI clinic with potential inpatient consults — no hospital rounds
• Onsite physician support available when GI physicians are scheduled
• PEG tube change experience preferred; paracentesis experience helpful
• IBD, liver disease, GERD, GI bleeds, dysphagia, and FibroScan follow-up
• No endoscopic procedures performed by NPs or PAs
• 6-week locums assignment — licensed providers preferred
