Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a GI physician for a 6-week locum assignment in an outpatient GI clinic. The role includes care for adult patients 18+, with potential inpatient consults. PEG tube changes and paracentesis experience are a plus.

Pre- and post-procedure care provided; no endoscopic procedures performed by APPs. Compensation ranges from $80.00 to $105.00 hourly, with housing and transportation expenses covered.

• Leave coverage – 6-week locums assignment

Job description

• Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm -- no call, no weekends, no holidays
• Outpatient GI clinic -- adult patients 18+; inpatient consults possible
• Physician support available onsite when locum GI physicians are scheduled
• PEG tube change experience preferred; paracentesis experience helpful
• IBD, liver disease, GERD, GI bleeds, dysphagia, and FibroScan follow-up
• Pre- and post-procedure care -- no endoscopic procedures performed by APPs
• Leave coverage -- 6-week locums assignment

From $80.00 to $105.00 hourly Ranges shown should be used as an estimate and are affected by many factors including the critical need of the position, your overall experience and qualifications, and other considerations.
